Samy Odin, director of La Musee de Poupee in Paris, will be attending our convention and has generously offered an exhibit for our Wednesday evening opening reception: a selection of paper dolls from La Poupee Modele, a French magazine that included paper doll sheets from 1863-1925.
Above are samples from Sheryl Jaeger's archive; she will also have some Poupee Modeles for sale at the convention. The first image of flower-themed ladies (cut-out) is c.1890s; the second is an intact sheet from 1885.
